Does the USB C still work? You could put a hub on that.

Otherwise the USB ports will need replacing with a board level repair.

What do you mean by metal tabs bent? can you bend them back with a precision screwdriver or something?

If not, a professional repair I imagine would not be economic.

Replacing USB ports is fairly simple. I've done it on several pieces of specialist equipment at work, but I've been doing electronics as a hobby for years. You'd need someone who's competent at soldering, maybe try a place that does TV repair? There's only so many types of USB socket so getting replacements would be easy

Could understand damaging one usb port
Accidents happen
But to damage all 3 seems very careless

Perhaps go to this thread
And ask vince for some advice
He fixes all sorts of stuff

it does depends on the motherboard, you can repalce the usb port your self, but if its not something you do normally if you dont solder and deal with electronics, i would suggest taking it to some one who does.
you dont wont to over heat and kill the board conenctors them selfs.

if you go the offical route they'll say its a motherboard replacement and cost could be some were from £250 to £500 including a technican to change it/sending it off at a guess.
i did just have a thought thought wise writing up the last section. Daugter Boards!
have a look at :

its a disassembly, it shows at least 2 of the usb ports on a daughter board this is easier to repalce than soldering ect
this may not be for your spesific model i think it is but you can at least see if you can open the case and check if it looks the same.

this would give back 2 working usb ports the 3rd being on the motherboard direct.
you can still run in to problems if you damage the cable ribon connector. easier to do than you think..

its around £50 for a replacement daugter board.

Lol
Sounds more like the sort of thing kids do
All the time they aren't having to buy it
Themselves
Soon as they have to foot the cost
They remarkably seem to take better care
Of their stuff lol

Yeah can't say I blame you there
That acer Nitro isn't exactly a cheap item
If my kid or grandkids broke all 3 usb ports
On something like that
There would be trouble

Found a local repair guy who micro solders, he has ordered the parts and is going to cost £150...

Thanks for all the replys
