Anyone playing it? I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Any tips? Best I can finish is 6th

Just playing practice against bots with the kids, seems really good, can't wait to fire it up properly later.

Can imagine it being fun with friends but I can only see me playing it for an odd game. The aesthetic feels very "hello fellow kids" and trying to capture the Fortnite crowd.

just didnt find the gameplay mechanic anything fun or new for me to want to play further.

Yeah I played it online a few times and it just doesn't do it for me. They made the right decision releasing it on plus though, that was never a £70 game.

its really boring after just 2 games

its like rocket league mixed with twisted metal but with all the fun stuff removed so tht the bad is super barebones

If it was just cars I may have enjoyed it more but that mix doesn't work for me.

I had a few more goes of this yesterday but I just couldn't get into it, it just feels boring to play

I thought I'd like it as I enjoyed destruction Derby back in the day plus I do genuinely like arcade racers

But yet some how this pulls none of what it's trying to do well

They seem to have concentrated on the characters in an attempt to pull in the fortnite crowd but it brings nothing at all to the game, but I guess they need to have something to sell in the way of outfits, colours accessories... the kids love charging the parents CC to buy a new outfit for their friends..

The only remotely fun part is driving but your car is pretty much done for after one decent hit.

The running about is slow and boring, arenas too small, everything feels like it needs a speed boost including the cars.

Hero cars are really hit and miss.

should have just done a Rollcage mixed with Destruction Derby type effort that is fun at it's core and forgot about the "must have" characters.

I can see why Sony pulled it from the release lineup and gave it away free instead.

It's ok but nothing to shout about.

Says it all that after it leaves PS+ it will only be 20 quid. And they were going to look for AAA full price originally? Mad.
