Destruction Derby type games with good physics ?

We probably all remember the old Destruction Derby games on the consoles years ago, in more recent times we had the Flatout series and Burnout.

I havent kept up to date with other recent games like Grid etc but what other games do we have on PC (or console too) that are Destruction Derby type games or racing games with good crash physics?
 
There's a game called Insane 2 which perked my interest when I saw a video of it, looks fairly similar to Motorstorm on the ps3.


Apologies if its not quite what you had in mind.
 
Ridge Racer Unbounded has just come out, its had quite a good critical reception on the consoles but I haven't read a review for the pc version yet.
