Desura, Megatonn Platform?

Recently installed Hunters Trophy 2 america from a bundle I got, all went well and then tried to play. Got a popup saying "Megatonn platform is missing, please go to megatonn-platform.com" tried, website doesn't exist far as I can see. Was from a reputable site, I use often.

I tried googling, but all I got was fallout searches, and duke nukem.

Anyone got any ideas? Quite annoyed atm.

Sounds more like malware or a virus to me. Have you swept your system?

EDIT: Actually a bit of Googling shows the game to be available via something called Desura, maybe that's the source of your problem as it looks like others are experiencing the same thing.

Desura is a game client though. As far as I know it's safe. I'll do a scan just to be safe.

Edit: Comments don't help unfortunately, google brings nothing.. I don't think there's anything I can do :/

Desura is something like Steam. You can activate some games on it, buy, install mods etc. Try it there. From what I can see, the game is there for sale, so you should be able to activate it using a CD Key.

I've installed Desura, and the game using the key provided as I said above. I just don't uinderstand the pop up.
