Right, I have some bad hologramming that I need rid of that is the result of wool mop and G3 following the wet flatting. I need a polish (for machine use) that will take out the buffer marks and leave it nice and glossy, too many products out there to confuse me :p
BTW, the paint is 2 days old so not at full hardness yet and will be needing a silicone-free product. FWIW the clear is Lechler Macrofan.

I'd use Megs #80 Speed Glaze. Very low cut, but leaves a very slick wet look.

What's causing the jagged reflections of the brickwork on the top edge of the front panel and driver's door? Is that just an optical illusion?

Depends how bad but for fresh paint and the way it finishes down: Menzerna 203S, it's water-based and no fillers and hardly needs any refining. You can buy it in small bottles too, goes a long way.

85re is the next step down, hardly any cut, same properties and would probably do the job but leaves a better finish.

sounds just the job, cheers :) It's only a small hatch so you the 250ml bottle will be plenty?

Should be able to do it three times over, probably more, with 250ml. Can send you out a sample size if you want some.

Lol Rotty:p

I use Menz FF, which does go a long way, I'd have let you have some (im in Dudley) but I leave for holiday today:p

Might be a bit orange peely, although I can't say i've ever noticed it before. I'll have a look at it later. Not exactly going to do anything about it given that i'm trying to sell it.

Gaijin, got any more pics of the car in that state? :)

What state would that be? :p
