deus ex - any graphics mods

Just got the goty on steam for pretty cheap as ive never played it, its downloading now, are there any graphics mods that might make it more playable?

bah i cant get it to start, i changed the colour setting to 32bit and also changed to widescreen in the ini file but it wont start now

edit: just realised i can do 1680x1050 in the menu, but it wont start with 32bit colours, but all the colours are messed up withouit it.

There's a so called HD mod which improves the visuals

I used it and it works o.k.

Ahhh, I got mine to work by going into the Deus Ex directory under steam, and changing the launchers compatability to Windows 98/me

ironically having not played the game for many years to get the mods to work you need an original copy of the game and not a steam version! (they have changed the code to allow it to run through steam). So much for being legit and buying games

Worked fine for me with Steam version when I tried it around a year ago I think? Obviously you may need to faff about a bit rather than using the Steam launcher but I know I got it working.

The thing about the HDCP pack is that it was never finished so some might find it jarring where one texture is upgraded while the other is the same. Personally I find it difficult to play through a story more than once so when I went back to Deus Ex I just didn't care enough to play through.
