Deus Ex - Human Revolution foogate

Some people think this is dumbing down of the game for consoles with all the yellow highlighting and the cut scenes. But I actually like how it looks and it looks like fun as well.
 
LOL at that vid, does the bird narrating not know that in most games these days you can stealth your way through? I bet the multiple different routes won't apply to much of the game either and the highlighted yellow markers is going to make things far too easy unless you can turn that off.

Not blown away by that footage as you can probably tell :p
 
I do hope you can turn the yellow marking off, will actually make people think instead of being fed what they could actually do.
 
I like it. I don't mind the ladders being highlighted as it makes them easier to see if you're on a dark rooftop trying to find a way down in a hurry. The highlights could be an Aug but even if they're not I'm really not bothered at all.

There are many more ways to get through a level than this vid shows as well, a few examples include hacking security bots and sending them after your enemies to either take them out or create a distraction while you sneak past, and using your Augs and/or creative thinking to find other possibilities.

I've played the first two games in the franchise and from what I've seen so far this easily looks as good if not better gameplay wise.
