Deus Ex mods and tweaks

So, I've completed Deus Ex: HR for the second time with the missing link DLC, and now I want to revisit Deus Ex after a few years but this time I want to improve the graphics (as normally I just play it with the normal graphics and use performance fixes) and I am bit out of touch with what is available and what is good and what isn't.

The other thing is I am not sure how to play it - whether to mod it ridiculously or just slightly. I will admit I am a bit put off with some mods using bloom, and overly detailed surfaces on walls etc - I would find that too distracting. I am looking to make it look better, just not too much that it looks out of place.

I want to hear the opinions of those who have modded their Deus Ex, with a list of the mods they've used and/or any tweaks.

thanks

New Vision will sort out the graphics. I believe it has a dx10 renderer in with it as well.

As for gameplay, I like Biomod which adds some unique weapons and greatly changes augs for the better imo. It changes it so that augs like silent running do not use biogel so you can always keep them on, likewise things like ballistic armour only use energy when they are being used.

PS. I do remember a conversation on here where people were talking about Deus Ex mods, i can't remember the name of the thread though, but it was something alon the line of Deus Ex vs Deus Ex Human revolution.

Thanks.

I did look for the other thread but couldn't find it either.

New vision looks superb from the screenshots, but when I tried it the game felt too dark compared to how it normally looks and some of the lighting on walls and certain areas wasn't there (which changes the feel of the game). Unless there is a fix for that, I am not sure I will use New Vision. To be fair, I am only judging this on Liberty Island and the Training mission, so I guess it isn't a fair test for the New Vision mod, but I don't really want to have to play the game half way through to see if it improves - thus spoiling the enjoyment of the game.

Can anyone vouch for New Vision in New York, Hong Kong and Paris (catacombs etc) where the core look is undisturbed?
