Deus Ex patches..

I've recently downloaded this from Steam (no thanks to whoever posted the recent thread - damn you

) and I'm wondering if there are any patches for it, specifically to increase the resolution above 800x600?

If you got it from steam it should be the latest most updated version by default.

Well it always runs in a window, even if I pick full screen. Any ideas?

in XP? Should be able to select at least 1280x1024...

I just bought it and highest res in the Game of the year editition is 1280x960 or something, for 4:3 it's 1024x768....

The original let you choose 1600x1200, but I'm playing just fine with 1280x1024, GOTY edition.

It may be running in the resolution you selected but don't be fooled by the HUD - it never scaled with increasing resolutions iirc

Yeah, just ben reading and 1280x960 is the highest res you can go without the HUD doubling in size

Just re-installed it. Icky mouse accel that you cant turn off makes it unplayable.

I'm using a 1600 dpi mouse and its fine. :confused:

Turn down the sensitivity.

I did, i have 3/11 windows sens, CPL Mouse Fix. No trace of mouse accel on my system.

1/10 sens on Deus Ex...

Well, my mouse is also a laser variant and it works fine :confused:

are you using the GOTY edition? Do those mice have drivers?
