Got a couple of days off and fancy giving this another go (never got past first mission )

Anything out there to give the graphics a boost or shall I just go for it?

On W7, playing 1680x1050 would be great, if FOV/HUD can be sorted.

Theres a couple of mods for graphics, but the only reason to use them is for better compatibility with newer GPUs - IMO the higher res textures/shaders only serve to emphasise how dated and blocky it looks.

makes it look like a new game. I prefer the opengl rendered myself as directx makes my mouse go laggy
