devastation doin my ed in!

hi
can anybody help me out with this game? i`m on a level called chozo, it says you`ve got to destroy the enemy spawner, i have done ,and theres sparks and smoke coming out of it but its still flashing red and the objectives still say"take out the enemy base and destroy the spawner, i have used about 16 grenades on it and theres no more troops coming out of it so it must be destroyed. is it possible this is a bug in the game? if it is will somebody please let me know or i might still be on the same level forever more

Devastation, damn its been a while since I played that game. I can't even remember what I thought of it.

Do you find it any good?

i found out what i was doing wrong, you have to do the objectives in a specific order or it seems to bugger everything up. the games not bad but the graphics seem a bit dated

what you are doing wrong is simple.

I think you've accidentally 'loaded' the game... Its terrible no end of times while I was desperately trying to play it through I had to restart levels because script triggers failed to start, doors wouldn't open, enemies dropped an item you couldn't pick up, or failed to spawn it entirely etc .. etc ..

it did look really nice for its age and have some excellent guns (really liked the match 9mm's )
