Guys I need some help please?

I'm trying to get a friends daughters Ipod to connect to her pc but it's got the above in device manager?

Done all updates on XP SP2 still no joy?

Any ideas please?

Normally means no driver or problem with the driver, try installing Itunes or just a standalone driver. (I aint big on Ipods, prefer Creative)

Lol I don't use any just trying to do someone a favor :(

I'll try that though!

I'm told though if I plug the ipod into a pc that doesn't have itunes installed that all the songs on the ipod will be lost?

Is this true anyone? She has 200 and I don't want to lose them

Yes there is some issue with that but I'm sure its to do with pluging a 2nd Ipod into a PC thats already got a Profile for Itunes and another Ipod set up, you need 2 Profiles set up or something (best Google it or get kicked in nutz if you loose all tracks) lol :p
