Hello,
I have just finished building my new computer specs in sig and have installed Win 7 HP 64bit on it. Everything seems to be running ok except that when I look in device manager the 'system devices' tab is always opened with everything, no yellow warning. After investigating, certain items in that menu such as:

Numerical Data Processor
High Precision Event Timer
and a few others all say 'No drivers are installed for this device'.

I downloaded every driver available off the Gigabyte site (Z87X-D3H) but they obviously haven't filled in the gaps. As said theres no warning sign next to it but the arrow is always expanded so the system is wanting me to do something.

Help!

Cheers.

Did you install both chipset drivers?

Was it a previous installation that you had on disk and you upgraded the hardware and started up?

What I did when i got my new mb and didn't want to reinstall my os was to run this command.

set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539

Then I literally went to every single device in device manager that was greyed out and right click and selected uninstall. Then i rebooted, then I installed all the latest drivers.

Also enable "show hidden devices". device manager -> view -> show hidden devices.
