Device Restriction Software...

Does anyone know of any software I could use to disable a device in device manager during weekdays, but enable it at weekends. Or possibly a script, if it is simple enough?

I have one PC with a webcam, and when that is used online the other PC lags on the internet and pages load slow. The ability to disable the webcam from my PC would be very useful, or a method of reducing the bandwidth it uses over MSN...

Both PCs are running Vista Home Premium

Are you running through a router and does the router support QoS?

Yeah I am running through a router (DG834G) but that doesn't support QoS

Yeah that's what I do atm. But I would like a solution to either do it from my PC manually with a button, or automatically disable it in device manager unless it is the weekend.

That is for Server 2008? I don't have the Group Policy Object Editor option in vista anyway.

Look for the same settings in the Local Policy editor.

Download DevCon and write a batch file to detect day and stick batch file in Startup?
