Well finally sat down & watched it tonight after having since release day.

Gotta say it was pretty good.

Nice & violent which is fine, story was quite good, acting was ok nothing special, directing was good.

However the ending...WOW :D

I have never routed for bad guys so much in all my life :D
I actually found myself welling up in the final scene...so didnt want it to go out like that :( :(

All in all a good film.

So am I the only warped one who found it good or did anyone else enjoy it?

It's a great film. Some of the scenes are just god damn hilarious...

Otis is by far one of THE coolest movie characters EVER to be honest...

Ichi the killer...now thats just plain weird & twisted

Also have a look at 2001 Maniacs...not due for release until March on R1 DVD or June here :(
But from the trailer it looks pretty depraved...cant link to it here as it involves lots of swearing

I watched them in this order as well. Was a little disappointed with House of 1000 Corpses but probably only because of the standard of The Devils Rejects.

I was really sad at the ending of The Devils Rejects as well :p
 
I thought both films were FANTASTIC, however, at the end of the Devils Rejects

When the sheriff got killed suddenly at the end, and the others got rescued from the house, I thought "oh no, come on, are they EVER gonna die?!" So I thought it was funny they ended up getting shot, as if they didnt die in that film, it would have been too far fetched...

I DESPERATELY didnt want the Sheriff to die! William Forsythe was fantastic in that film!!! The way he turned the tables on them, and went around with no mercy!

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll look them up. I think I felt "unclean" because i was routing for the clan too.
 
Great film :D House of 1000 corpses was good too, might want to check it out :)


Big tall mangled faced guy? Aye hes from first film (house of) Think I liked house more than devils imo.

Ichi the killer = amazing film.
 
It's a shame they didn't include Dr.Satan in The Devils Rejects. If you look on the second disc you'll find a deleted scene which featured Dr.Satan in hospital, he appears to be asleep/unconsious. A nurse leans over to adjust some equipment or something, he jumps to life and bites her neck. Blood everywhere :D

It's a nice little scene, shouldn't have been removed from the final cut IMO.
 
watched this tonight and thought it was so so, for me there didn't seem to be much plot at all just them killing ppl, which in turn made me want them killed.

I was really rooting for the sheriff at the end to cut them up big style with the axe, but the bit with Tiny at the end was so predictable.

p.s - Baby was so dam hot in that film.

TBH I wasnt actually expecting the Tiny bit...I was wondering what happened to him but like Dr Satan I just thought they'd wrote him out...was great though that he came & saved the clan :D:D (Told you I'm twisted :p)

Have to agree Baby is mega fit...Rob Zombie is a lucky man (she's his wife...Sherri Moon Zombie)

Migsy, I havent watched the deleted scenes yet, will deffinitley check that out now though.

Honestly I thought this film was pretty poor in every department, House of 1000 Corpses to me was a lot better. Baby is fitter in the first film too ;) .
