Dex problem on Samsung Galaxy S6 tab.

When entering dex mode the taskbar doesn't show up and I get the error "system UI keeps stopping"

I've tried all the usual things like clearing cache and data for multiple apps, uninstalling updates, switching off and on etc etc

Anybody have this problem or have any suggestions other than factory reset?

I think you might have to do a system reset frankly.. Something in the software is currently broken so this is the best way to reset it - Worst come to worst, you might have to flash the ROM but let's get to that bridge later..

Yeah, kind of preparing for that.

I use Dex only a couple of times a month maybe so I'm just going to hold off I think. With my work apps needing authorisation and Now TV device changes I can't face the grief

I know the pain for sure - I think you'll just have to bite the bullet unfortunately!

Finally got around to backing up files and apps to allow me to hard reset.

Just in case anyone has the same problem, a reset solved it thankfully.
