Does that mean it's haulting on CPU detection?
Friend at work's computer and has been running at stock settings. Old P4 S775 3.0GHz cpu under one of my OEM Intel C2D coolers. Temps were fine at time of install idle in the high 30's!
It powers up but nothing comes on screen, and the hdd doesnt spin up, and the tracer LED's on the ballistix dont do their little dance they usually do on boot up.
I havn't really tried anything with it yet, just picked it up after work.
Tried doing a quick bios reset, and reseating all cables and graphics card to no avail.
Could the CPU have just given up? I bought the mobo/cpu from members market less than a year ago so dunno what kinda treatment it got before I got it.
So yeah anyone with DFI experience or advice please let me know.
