DFI Expert and X2 AMDs Temps?

Has anyone overclocked an 4400X2 on the DFI expert.

What are you temps on the chipset and PWmic. Also what cooling are you using.

mine runs 46oC at stock with stock cooling

i know it diff but my x2 3800+ @ 2.2 and DFI Ultra-D runs at 38-50*C stock cooling

are those the CPU temps? or the PWmic

the PWmic one is what im most interested in because its the hardest to cool.

Mine goes over 80 sometimes, Jokester said in one of my posts his went over 127!

That was on a Asus A8N-SLI, I think the Expert has 4-phase power rather than 3 on the Asus so it should be a bit cooler. Certainly on a A8N32 the PWMIC was much much cooler with 8-phase power circuits.

Oh good, well should be ok with an 4400X2 so say an average max of 80C

Have heard of some stablility probs when it exceeds 50. Not sure of whether this is true if some of you are hitting 80. Mine only gets to 45 with my 170. Runs a lot cooler on my 3700 even though this runs at higher volts (although doesnt take as much power as the dual cores)

When my 3800+ x2 was clocked at 2.6 the pwmic hit around 60 added the cooler master cross flow fan droped it by about 15oC

on my ultra-d with my 170 the pwm used to hit about 75c, when it hit his kinda temp it would fail prime95 within a few mins when clocked at 2.8ghz.
Got an 80mm fan blowing over the area now and it temps dont exceed 45c and is stable
