DFI Expert memory problem

My DFI expert doesn't like my 2x 1gb gskill zx. I had it working fine before, at ~200 mhz, 2-3-2-5. Changed the processor last night to an opty 146 from a 148, and it wont boot with both sticks. It's at default settings, so lots of autos. Are there any settings which might help?

The orange slots seem to work better, I was using those before. With the orange slots I get the 3 lights, beep code. With yellow it gets to the xp screen, but stays black and won't do anything else.

So, any ideas for settings or other solutions? Thanks.

try 1 stick, change dram drive strength to 7 or 5 and see. cant remember the default one.

Thanks for the reply. Tried 8 and 7 (which seem to be the most used) with both sticks. It turns on and the chipset fan spins up, but it doesn't give any beeps and nothing comes up on the screen.

Going to try a cmos clear now.
