What memory holes are you ment to use? I see a lot with oranage but im useing the yellow ones and its fine (Have 2 x 1 GB Ballstixs) they run fine in dual channel. Any help?

i have heard orange aswell according to a guide at dfi street....

is your memory performing as it should be although its working it may be running at lets say 200mhz when it *** manage 250mhz....

If not then try plugging them in the orange slots....

In fact you *** try them in yellow and note the max mhz and then again in yellow....which ever is higher choose that colour :D

It was in the way so bent the first fin down and cut the corner off the fan mount will see what happens when they are in orange slots.

I had problems with the orange slots on the initial build. It would boot to BIOS I would save a setting in CMOS and then it would reboot with my monitor in standby, untill I cleared the CMOS again.

Strange because I switched my mem to the yellow slots and it works fine.

(SLI-D, Crucial Ballistix)

It might be a load of bull but i read somewhere that certain types of memory works better in yellow and other in orange, just don't ask whats best in which slots.

For the record i have my Gskill in the yellow slots and they seem to run fine.

I have my 2x1gig Corsair Value ram Samsung UCCC in the orange slots, run at 1:1 240mhz fsb at cas3 4-4-8 1T 24/7 at 2.53v and using latest official bios and she runs sweet as a nut.

Got to love this board for £59.97 from a major high street supplier!!
