DFI lanparty Nforce4 with ATI GPU

would this board (DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express ) be ok to use with the powercolour X1800XTX 512mb card? i mean it has a lot off nvidia features on that board and also nvidia chipset, i am rubbish with figuring if its compatible...inview of the fact of the price change...im going ATI this time

It will be fine. You just cant run ati cards in crossfire on a nforce4 chipset or nvidia cards in sli on a ati chipset

however i need to choose RAM for this board too, any suggestions under £160 please, i wont be overclocking THAT much.. (4000+ san diego 64)

See my sig - and yes GeIL Value will do fine if you aren't clocking much. Personally, I'd get the G.Skill ZX with it's very tight timings - should be worth a bit of performance
