dfi mi p55 error help

so my DFI mitx errors, the little LED says EA, which means pci device error. However I tried a different gfx card and got the same error.

it doesnt boot/post/display anything, but the fans do spinup etc (the gfx card normally spins down upon post but this doesnt happen)

wondering what it could be, as i sent the mobo back via rma and have word its working perfectly fine.

Anyone able to help? :/ I'll be testing everything in another pc asap but im just wondering...

could it be psu related?

I didn't even know this board was available in this country.
Anyway, have you tried it directly with an I3 or i5 and no GFX card, so it uses the onboard? Or is that absent from the p55 and only a h55 thing?

no onboard video on the dfi.

done all basic mobo actions, clear cmos, removed battery etc?

yup everything like that, same error.

getting it back soon so ill properly hardware test (cpu, psu, gfx card) but i cant see why it would just randomly not work unless its a mobo fault
