I have recently just installed a water block for my mobo, so that ment unscrewing my mobo etc to install the block. Everything was working fine before I installed the block. Now my mobo wont startup, all I get is 4 led's on the bottom lit up and nothing else happens?

What does 4 led's mean?

Please help!!!

:(

Check you didn't knock any of the connectors loose, hdd, fdd cd rom etc. My CFX3200 won't boot if the power connectors of any drives are loose. Also did you use a psu rail to power your watercooling setup? The psu maybe inadequate for the extra load..

4 LEDS means system startup according to page 67 of the manual, 3 means cpu detected, 2=DRAM detected and 1 is VGA detected.

Thing is, before I took the motherboard out my cpu had been priming for 16+ hours and all was fine.

hmm thats strange. Not knocked anything off while the mobo was out? Any bent pins on the cpu?#

Yeah twice. I think I must have damaged something taking it out. It will teach me to be more careful in future.

Just gonna have to buy the Expert now to replace it, fortunately I have just been paid.

I dont think the expert is worth the premium imo.

why dont you clock the 170 more, i see your volts are very low? why not 3ghz at say 1.5v?

I will give it a go. Have to order my new motherboard first :D

Are you sure you haven't got anything shorting the board out? Could be a screw under your board or your block isn't mounted properly? Try reseating it :)
