It would seem that DFI have stopped providing sponsership/support and so the owner has closed the forums.

This is very sad news as an active support forum like DFI-Street was a great selling point for DFI boards.

just saw it my self
was just got a new dfi xfire few weeks ago, with all the probs with the leasest mobos
will be my first and last dfi mobo after this
site was last straw

st got this from dfi as i sent a e-mail to them provided by dfi street

Dear Customer,

Thanks for your E-mail. First of all, www.dfi-street.com is owned by Mr. Travis Hill (Angry_Game). We paid him as a contractor to support our customers on his forum for years. Recently, he posted some improper message on the forum that hurts the relationship between www.dfi-street.com and DFI. That’s why we terminate the contract with him starting from 1/4/07. We’ll have another forum to support DFI M/B users later.

Thanks again

DFI San Jose

DFI street use to be a pretty helpful forum especially when i was having troubles with my DFI "Boards" :(. Hopefully DFI will notice that dfi street was one of the main reasons users liked DFI board becuase of the extra support given over other companys.

W3bbo Celebrates :D :D :D

Happy_games/Angry_games had one serious attitude problem which has been his undoing - my faith in DFI is now restored and cannot wait to see the new forum. Big up to DFI for ditching that clown.

Q.F.T !! Happy new year!! LOL!

I dunno where the new site will be, most likely on xs/bleeding edge as a sub forum. I am gonna try and work with dfi support europe and help out people where I can, I was thinking of offering up my own place, but support is a tedious and difficult excercise. DFI needs good users to offer up as much help as possible atm...

There was talk over at XS that they had been in discussions to set up a DFI subforum before this all kicked off.

Jokester

europe is a seperate territory, wendell handles the whole area on his own. So I am willing to help out where I can. I have a few of my closer and knowledable friends and mods from DFI street with me. I guess I'd hate them to pull out of the consumer industry altogether, but it's out of our control. Initial rd600 allocation for the UK (based on hearsay) seems to be at around 200 or so. I do know that dfi have a 680i board on the way too.

Shocked about this, I was only browsing the forum yesterday!

I did think it was only a matter of time though, Angry_Games has some real issues, there was a post a while back where he get a "bit" upset with some of the posters there, and opened up on them, lol.

I just feel sorry for all the people who used to post there regularly.

I think he did sort of have a bad attitude towards people who posted there, even though i dont own a DFI board anymore i still used to browse the forums ect. Was some intresting reading there well sort of :).

i used to post there back in the nForce2 days and the toaster certified sigs :p

i managed to push 2500mhz but only managed 240fsb, still toasty enough :D back then he was very helpful and didnt seem to have an attitude at all.

cant say I'm surprised at this, just a few days ago he posted words on dfi street which crossed over to XS which kicked up a little stink.
i can see his side of thinking but bringing others into it didnt help his cause( oskar wo and bigtoe/tony).
