Hey all,
Had this motherboard a while but having some problems.
1) There is a molex connector on the motherboard, does this need to have power going to it? I have a radeon x1900 xt and have power going to that, but do I need to plug into the 4 pin also? Any other random power plugs I should know about?
2) Memory
- I have G.Skill ZX3200 dual channel memory as from Ocuk. The 2 gig set. However I was having major problems getting it to run without crashing. The problems were mainly occuring in World of Warcraft and at random times. No logic to it, was relating to all different programs and stop errors. I took one stick out and all was fine, but obv I want two.
I have now flashed the bios and got some new hard drives and a clean windows x64 install. However if I put the sticks in both yellow slots it will not boot past Verifying DMI Pool data. I have the sticks together in the first orange and first yellow slots from the top now and it runs 2gig in single channel.
Firstly what are the correct slots to be putting them in?
Secondly what do I need to check in the bios as this could be a factor? <-- Read newbie here!
Any other ideas for the crashing?
