OK, for some reason there's a security patch for vista that's killing my nvidia LAN, meaning that it not only stops it from working, but also makes it crash vista whenever you try to touch it, whether you try to disable it or look at it's properties. Now I've switched to the 2nd LAN on the board, but want to kill the Nvidia one so it's not going to cause any problems. For some reason now, even when not using it, it causes a longer boot because it's making NOD32 take 4 times as long to load.
I've looked in the bios and can only find a way to disable the 2nd LAN, not the first. Anyone know how to do it?
If not I'll just have to not download this update, and restore to an earlier point. All very odd.
