DFI Ultra D

Both ATI and nVidia. It will take one ATI card, or one nVidia card (but you can modify the board to make it SLI and therefore use two nVidia cards).

I was aware that it wasn't SLI / crossfire but if I can drop a single X1900 series card in then that will do for me.

What do you think of this board in terms of overclocking? As long as I can get the HTT to something like 260 / cpu @ 1.6v then thats more than enough.

Basically I'm looking for a DFI board to handle a single X1900XT / 7900GTX but I'm not fussed about SLI / CF at the mo. This seems like the best option.

The X1900 will work fine in that board, as for overclocking you will be able to hit 300 HTT, there are no better motherboards for overclocking than DFI ;)

I got the SLi-D and its sitting at a cool 311HTT atm with no voltage increase o the LDT or Chipset volts so i'm sure 260 is more than achievable :D

am i right in thinking that you can put 2 gcards in there but only use them for multiple monitors not for performance increase. for instance have your x1900 as your main card then add in a cheap x1300 or something so you can span windows across 4 monitors if you wish.
