Hi guys,
Have this annoying issue with my DFS mapped drive where it disconnects randomly and says it is not available.
So the mapped drive is \\domain.com\shares which is published on all 3 of the DCs.
The error message is along the lines of - H:\ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted......
If seems like the drive times out and disconnects and then if I go into another drive and back into this it works fine.
Just to note that these servers are setup in the cloud and these users are connecting through a dedicated link in HQ to this setup. We have different domain mainly used a HQ but it is these select users using this other domain are having this issue. We have a two way trust in place for these domains and everything has been working fine for months until a few weeks when this issue started.
Have checked DNS and it resolves correctly and also hear people talking about "slow-Link issues with Windows 7 and DFS Namespace"
Has anyone had this issue before??
