DGM 27" no bios display with DVI Help

hi guys iam hopeing this is something simple, but ive just built a new machine around a asus sabertooth z77 board, 3770K cpu and gtx-680

Now when connecting to the DGM via supplied DVI cable it dosnt show bios screen, I have to connect to it via VGA cable to see bios, make any adjustments, then reconnect DVI cable and it can hang getting into win7 using DVI supplied cable, ive tried another DVI cable, no go what so ever.

so whats the deal with the DGM monitors not showing bios with DVI conection?

any idea's ? this is driving me nuts

Have a skim through the original thread and you may find your answer there but I thought this was limited to the display port.

So it looks like a DP cable will give me the res I want and bios screen! Iam pleased as I like the DGM screen its been awesome for me this past year or so.

When I had my DGM I was unable to see POST with DVI but I hit the DEL key anyway and BIOS came up no problem.

Ditto for that - the bios is always available, but the post never is.

Just a quick update!

With a DP cable everything shows, post screen. bios. and windows! so it seems the only way to see all 3 screens is with a DP cable, providing your GFX card has DP output of course.

for anyone with the above monitor!
