Been asked by a friend if I can repair the power brick (LP-2460) that ships with this monitor.
His sisters dog had a go at it & chewed up the DC cable near the PSU (pity it wasn't the AC side!)
It still works but now has insulating tape wrapped round the exposed wires, not nice.
I can resolder it at the cost of shortening the cable by about 3 inches, if only I could get it open.
There are 2 screws at one end, but removing them doesn't seem to do much.
Anyone discovered the secret to opening up one of these?
