DGM L-2442W Driver

I've just changed my Graphics Card to an Asus HD 6850. The highest res I can now get on my DGM monitor is 1600 x 1200. Never had a problem getting the full res prior to this.
Installing the software card I get a 'Can't find .inf file' error.
I don't ever remember installing a driver for the DGM, but it looks like I need to now.
Tried removing the monitor and re-booting but it still comes up as a 'Generic PnP monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adaptor'. (Tried it in both the DVI sockets).

Anyone still using one of these, and know where I can get a compatible driver? Searching finds lots of links but no driver.
OS is Windows 7.

Did you un-install the previous drivers before hand?

Yes.
It just seems very strange as this is my third Graphics Card change but the first time I've lost the top range of resolutions.

Thanks for the replies.
Was just using the DVI cable I had before and installing the drivers on the CD that came with the card.
Have just tried the DVI to VGA adaptor and installed the drivers with that.
It came up with the original error, 'Can't find .INF file', and wouldn't let me use any res higher than 1600x1200.
But .................. after a reboot I have the full range again.
First time I've ever had to do that, but you live and learn.
