DGN2000 woes

Looking for a new decent ADSL +2 Modem/Router

Just recently it seems total fail and un-stable ip's drop like flies and all lights are green on router tried updating the firmware but nothing!. Internet is extreamly slow. Wireless is very bad also.

Tried a DGTeam firmware for it? May help you out and allows for tweaks.

Just google DGTeam.

I have worked with a lot of Netgear routers and DGN2000 seems to be the most unreliable one I have ever come across. The biggest problem I have had with them is the lan ports failing resulting in 'obtaining IP address' failures.

I have two sitting here and they are that bucked up, I can't even update the firmware.

Have a DGN2000 myself and had no problems with it so far.

Generally I stick to Netgear or D-link as both have really nice menu/setup.

Only tried one belkin and that was a while back but hated it.

Yeah this is one of the issues we have atm its a royal pain in the backside!

Shall take a look at Dlink if not maybe the newest Netgear Router
