Hi

I downloaded the DGTeam firmware for my Netgear DGN2000 and there are 2 files in there which have the same name apart from one letter.

What's the difference between the 'b' & 'o' firmware?

I believe the one ending in "o" contains the most recent ADSL drivers available. "b" contains the default ADSL drivers that would come with the device. You may be best to try both and see which one works best, try noting down your current ADSL driver version (found on the "router status" page) and compare it after you've flashed.

What are the advantages of running DGTeam firmware?

I get a extra 500-1000kbps using DGTeam firmware compared to the the official firmware.
And so many options that you can do (although i haven't tried or changed any, you can change the SNR (i think it is this option) margin for higher speeds although i haven't got round to that).

Cool, might give this a go on my spare netgear router.

I get crappy speeds from sky, I know for a fact my neighbour gets over a meg more :(
