I have a Windows Server 2012 r2 box set up and configured to be the DHCP server on my network (it's also a Domain Controller and DNS server). The DHCP aspect of it is authorised and it is giving out IP's fine to virtual wired clients on my ESXi box.
However, wireless clients are unable to get an ip. I get the internal 169.x.x.x address on multiple devices.
DHCP is turned off on the router/wireless access point and the Server 2012 r2 box is the sole DHCP server on the network.
If I manually set the IP address on the wireless client, all is fine as it should be, but this isn't making sense to me at all. For some reason the router/access point seems to be disallowing/blocking communication.
Any ideas?
