Im awating for a delivery via DHL and the online tracking says this "HSD Out for Delivery awaiting IOD" from the High Wycombe Home Delivery Branch

Does anyone know what this means?

mine changed to that and within an hour it arrived, this has happened both times. So I think it means the delivery guy is in your area.

Just been droped off.. The DHL guy said he tired this afternoon, but I was out and droped it off in his personal car! Not bad service!

-- Checked it over and seems ok!

Apparently DHL drivers get paid on the number of packages they deliver - someone said it in the new shipping methods thread I think.

HSD = Home Service Delivery?
IOD = Independent Operator Download? (Proof of Delivery Signature)

Edit: I would have thought a signature would be 'uploaded' rather than downloaded, but then that would make it an IOU which probably would be apt with disappointed customers! :D

That would make sense. As mine where both Independent. However it did change to that until shortly before delivery. before then it just said "Out for delivery "
