Di Matteo sacked

BREAKING NEWS: Pep Guardiola has been sacked by Chelsea for failing to win a trophy since being linked with the job this morning:D:cool:

Ripped of facebook:o

Abramovich will just sack managers until Pep takes the job on.

And the funny thing is if Pep doesnt win anything at Chelsea then he also will be sacked without a second thought.

For all the talk of Pep going to Chelsea, i personally dont think he will do that well there, mainly because he wont have the one man wrecking machine that is Messi:D along with Xavi and Iniesta.

The only way Pep can go now is down. He won't get much better success than what he enjoyed at Barcelona.

I'm not so sure he will do well either, but who knows... I think there is a lot of luck when it comes to management. Depends if he clicks with the squad straight away.

But the main thing is, what Chelsea fire a manager for, or UTd, or Spurs, and what QPR or Southampton would fire a manager for are very very different things.

Yeah already knew that, what I was trying to say was that relative to expectations/plan Hughes should have been sacked by now as 4 points from 12 games is clear relegation form.

For Di Matteo to be sacked now after 4-5 bad results is somewhat more ridiculous. Especially if the plan is to get Pep in, though by the way things are looking I seriously doubt that ambition can be realised right now given the fairly impending retirement of Fergie and Wenger leaving more sensible jobs open at some point.

It'll be Rafa taking the job (or 'Arry if they are desperate) as they both need the cv building experience and the safety of a mental chairman to explain why they failed.

BBC Sport understands Rafa Benitez is flying to London from Abu Dhabi to hold further managerial talks with Chelsea.

Looks like it will be him then...

In two minds about rafa to chelsea. Hopefully he'll sign the same amount of crap he did as when he was liverpool manager.
He'll likely get his first choice targets at Chelsea. If it wasn't for Parry we could've had Ageuro, Mata, Silva and Alves in our team years ago but we ended up with cheap alternatives in most cases. Signed some stinkers but we were usually after the cream of the crop.

lol **** off Sky Sports... "news and reaction about Di Matteo sacking coming in every minute" ... plays Pardew interview for the 100th time in the hour!!

Might aswell add messi to that list. What matters is what he bought.

Jesus, it looks like it's going to be Benitez :(

I didn't realise that Chelsea have won more major trophies than anyone else since RA took over.
Sacking your manager every year is obviously the way to go so Arsenal should take note. Spuds have seen the light it seems, AVB will be gone soonish and silverware will return.

In Rafa we trust :barf:
