I'm getting like 700-800 KB/s... I usually get a lot more. Any tips to increase the speed?

Your lucky to be getting that much!

I gave up in the end and just torrented the install files then copied them into the downloader folder, much much quicker.

I just disabled P2P and now i'm getting 1.06MB/s... a tiny bit more

May torrent it.

Try turning off peer to peer

then uncheck "automatically detect settings"

Turn off the P2P and do the IE settings, you'll get near line speed.

It took 8 hours to download D3 on a 100mbit connection... and this was about a week after launch!

I was getting 100k a second until I did the IE change, went to 1600k a sec.
