Nobody really knows when it'll arrive, could be 2012 for all we know. The best guess at the moment seems to be 2010 though.

ill most certainly be buying it, most likely several copies. i have my suspisions its going to be p2p on b.net though and thats why there wont be any LAN.

No problem, I would assume you can still do private multiplayer on battle.net, we'll just do that, basically will be the same as LANing
