Diablo III confirmed ?

I guess a new game is equally good though, blizzard are pretty good at making games so if its something totally new. Then win win win! :D
 
If it is D3 they announce then I really hope they took forward their idea of all items having the potential to exist in either 'light' or 'dark' form, making it not just a visual tweak that was initially talked about but a core aspect of the game.
 
Latest update to blizzard.com and I'm going to eat my hat, looking like it really is going to be Arthas as most people expected :(

Blah, I'm still going to hold onto the dream that it's Diablo 3 though.
 
The image actually has aspects from various games. If you look around the edge there's a few runes, and each of those are from different Blizzard games.

But I seriously expect it's something to do with WoLTK.
 
I think blizzard might be getting us to think it could be arthas, apparently the symbol bit on his forhead doesn't match the pics of arthas. Also we already know about WOTLK, blizzard have said that they are announcing a new game (apparently) and the runes around the outside come from different games, some sort of pentagram timeline? pentagrams = diablo

so much speculation and so many theories. a lot of people sound like they are going to hang themselves if its not diablo 3 lol.

as much as i want it to be diablo 3, im not that desperate. :p

Looks like just some WotLK stuff to me, i dont think it will be diablo related when the image seems to have so little to do with anything about diablo.

I havnt played D2 in a LONG time, so could be wrong, but i dont remember any of them runes being the same symbols used on the D2 runes, or anywhere in diablo2 for that matter. Never played D1 though, so i have no idea if they are in that.

The rune in the top right is the Hel rune from D2

Yes the whole ice thing and the eyes looks like WOTLK / Arthas, but don't you think blizzard are a bit more cunning rather than stating the obvious?
