So I have been having a few BSODs recently. I thought it was just a bad OC on a temporary cheap board. But I received my old board back after a successful RMA and it still isn't stable - even at stock. So something must be wrong somewhere. I haven't had any BSODs during normal PC usage (eg gaming or browsing) but they very quickly happen under stress from Intel Burn Test.

Here is a Bluescreen viewer generated HTML report on my recent BSODs. All have the same error (DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL) and most point to Windows OS files as the failed driver.

Any ideas as to the cause? I suspect either that the OS has corrupted files from the MoBo swaps (old rubbish mobo was a gigabyte Z68X-UD3-B3) or when I was trying to get a half decent overclock on the old board the Vdroop went crazy and pushed 1.5+V through the CPU before freezing and then I had a few issues getting it to boot and no success in getting any overclock to work.

Many Thanks

Toaster

Should be 1.50v for the RAM.

If it put 1.5+v through the CPU it may damaged it.

It's LoVo RSM so 1.35 is the spec voltage and the voltage set by XMP

I'd do a clean install of windows.

That is something I am definitely considering. Did a SFC /scannow on command prompt and a butt load of things were "fixed". Its just installing windows and all my programs etc is a pain.
