My wife's pc has been running 2 months since I upgraded it, no issues and fine running games etc.
Left on overnight and today there's no display although it's still powered. It powers on, fans start but no sounds and no display.
It's an i7 4770, gigabyte motherboard and rx590, ssd and a second hdd. 4x4gb ddr sticks with leds, no lights on power on though. I cannot remember if that is usual or whether it only lit after windows started.
I reset cmos, no change
I have restarted several times, no display to either of 2 monitors using different gpu outputs.
I have removed the gpu, reset cmos and tried connecting monitors to on board graphics, no display.
Any idea of next steps? I was planning on removing memory and trying just pairs, then stripping down to minimum, if no change removing mobo and trying outside the case.
My chief concern is no sounds of attempted boot, it's near silent with a few fans turning on minimum speed. Does it look like a dead mobo? , I can't help thinking cpu should be fine, psu should be okay, cable's were unmoved and should be okay, mobo touching case and shorting is unlikely.
Frustrated.
