DICE considering 3D, Move for Battlefield 3

I absolutely adore KZ3 using Move. For me, it's a million miles better than a pad. Any future PS3 FPS should have the option.

Supposedly Move is so effective in KZ3 that some people were asking for there to be seperate servers for Move and DS3 - I find that hard to believe, but it does suggest that Move seems to be at least an useful alternative to a pad for FPSes...

I know others here have said that they found MAG better/as good with Move too and there was me thinking Move was a fad when it came to proper serious gaming...

The motion controller does the aiming (bit with the ball) while the nav controller does the moving (the on with the single stick). Not too sure if the stick is setup for classic sidestep or pivot rotation as I know the motion controller off-screen can make you turn too on KZ3...

I really hate motion control. I want to like it but when I'm sat there waggling my arms around trying to do some weird shape in the air that never quite works first or even second and third time (looking at you, heavy Rain) I can't help yearning for my trusty controller that does what I want and when it doesn't, it's my fault, not the fault of a clever camera.

As long as it's always just an option and not the only method of control in a game then I'll be happy.

Gah, I'm such a Luddite.

Least youve tried it, mines still in the box unopened as I game on a 24" monitor so doubt it would be an useful experience on such a small screen...

Try it. I use it on my 27" and it's fine. In fact, I think it's easier than on my 46" tele :)

Anyway, I really do hope Dice do this. Was likely already getting BF3 on PS3, but this would make it a definite purchase!!

Tempted to get that sharpshooter attachment and KZ3 after watching that video. Looks seriously good. Resident evil 5 didn't use the move controls very well at all and felt extremely awkward to use, yet this might actually improve things even on that.

My brother detested the Sharpshooter. He enjoyed the Move controls without though, and I'm a big fan coming from a Wii (and playing the masterpiece Metroid Prime 3...)
