Dictaphones/Voice Recorders

Afternoon guys,

Couldn't find anything in the search..

I am looking for one of the above (budget of around £30-40). It is for lectures/seminars at Uni, does anyone use one or have they got any recommendations?

Any advice would be greatly welcomed.

Ideally it would be able to pick up the lecture from sitting 10 meters or so away.

My mum has an Olympus one for taking minutes. It's very good.

I do write, but with some lecturers who talk too fast you miss things and having the lecture to listen back to be a good way to remember things/learn. Thanks brains.
