Did anyone build their own Apple Mac?

Hello Mac lovers,

I have a good client who wants a apple mac and I am wondering if this is something I can build?

I am interested to hear from anyone that has built their own Mac or perhaps knows something about the process, I am hoping it's just a matter of choosing the right hardware and installing the Mac OS?
