I'm getting an Opty 170 to replace a 3500+ winnie in my A8V, and decided to go to 2GB RAM at the same time. After reading around the forums, based on the performance of the RAM I ordered these: G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit (F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ)
Only later did I see a post that sez G.Skill and the A8V don't get along
250MHz might be possible but that's the limit - anyone actually tried this combination can confirm?
