I feel like an idiot. Basiclly I bough a 8800GS from a guy online and yes the card works and all but I've found out its pretty much the same as my 4670. Now if I'd done my reasearch I wouldnt be in the situation. Still it wasnt very much, I'm thinking of trading it in. Before I do that though, I want to much dam sure that I'm doing the right thing.
 
Well tbh, you're not the first to be confused by the naming conventions that both ATi and nVidia employ.

Just sell it and put it down to experince.
