Hi everyone,

So I've been buying all the parts one by one as good opportunities/sales come by. I got an MSI MPG A850G for my build and I'm planning to get a 5080 Suprim.

So far, my build is as follows:

CPU: 7800X3D
Mobo: MSI x870e Tomahawk
Ram: Gskill Trident DDR5 16x2 6000MT 30CL
Case: Corsair 4000D frame
PSU: MSI MPG A850G

About to add:
5080 Suprim
Still need to buy a cooler and fans and while I know it may not be necessarily needed, but I would like a 360 AIO.

I got a really good price for that PSU. Should I have gotten 1000W instead?

Thanks, appreciate any directions I can get.

If you can send it back try get a 1000 at least that way your good for a while.

I'm using a 14700K with a 4080 Super on a 850 watt PSU and don't come close to maxing out the PSU, as long as it is a decent PSU won't be a problem.

I don't know this PSU/model personally, but as long as it's a decent PSU, I cant see it being a problem, FWIW people used to run high end Intel/AMD CPU's paired with 4090's with the Corsair SF750 in SFF builds for example, and it was proven to be fine :)
As long as it's got a good spec, reviews well, decent warranty, and you got a good deal, then don't worry about it :)
