Also, has anybody else been having trouble connecting to the FAH servers lately? This machine is running the Linux SMP client with an always-on broadband connection but it seems to dawdle about when it comes to uploading and downloading work.
 
There are many postings on the Stanford Forums about this. You should go post your results / log file and get input from Bruce and uncle_fungus etc etc.

Did they clear the registrations when they reskinned the site? It's not taking my username, password, or email address. :confused:

EDIT: The official forums, that is.
 
Some users were ported over, but the vast majority, from what I can gather, had to re-register, even some Mods & Admins. I have a whopping 2 posts now !!!

Everyone had to re-register since foldingforum.org is completely separate from folding-community.org which is currently not in a usable state.

As far as what will happen in the future, I don't know. We're still hoping that WW will be able to find the time to be able to fix the brokenness of the old FCF, or at least be able to give us a database dump. I suspect that the old site will just become an archive forum used for reference only.
