Did I order the wrong bit?

Placed an order and went with the Abit IP35 Pro board to go with the Q6600, after reading a lot of good reviews and making a last minute decision to get that over the Gigabyte Q6.

This morning I'm wondering if I've made the wrong decision there. From what I've read it's a great performer but I'm starting to worry the DQ6 made more sense given the few additional features. :(

I guess I'm looking for a bit of final advice, maybe some opinion from Abit users who are overclocking the Q6600. Or should I try to switch the board with OcUK before it ships? Maybe I'm picking over nothing. Waaaah.

If you chose the abit over the DQ6 then it is likely that the extra features were not usefull to you and the ip35 pro gets recomendad about as much as the gigabyte mobo's ATM around here so they are a fine bored so dont worry you have still purchased a good product.

and it must fit the bill you need as you went for it in the first place enjoy!

given the few additional features. :(

& what would those be?
Seriously, I can't think of anything important that the DQ6 has that the Pro doesn't & indeed the Pro has a few features that the DQ6 doesn't.
Swings & roundabouts.

just to put your mind at ease, i have one also arriving this morning, going from my gigabyte p35 ds3p. Not a big fan of the giga board. Doesnt show your psu voltages and such in the bios, running vista 64bit and couldnt find an app that would reliably report those voltages. Its a good clocking board. But think its cheap lol.

This will be my first shot on an abit board. Have heard a lot of good things about it.

Thanks to you guys for posting this morning (+ in Mobo section!). Definitely reassured me.

Can't wait to get building.

well its arrived here at work,
initial impressions are very good, loving the looks of the heatsinks on the board.

Will be removing them an as5'ing when i get home. High hopes for this board. :D
