Ok so I had a choice between the following

2x 1GB GSkill PC4000 HZ series
2x 1GB Corsair XMS PC3200 CL2

They were both the same price so I went for the GSkill Ram in the end.
My current setup is in my sig and I'm hoping to overclock my 4000+ to 2.6Ghz.
Only problem is that I used to have some OCZ Gold GX XTC PC4000 ram but I could never get any decent overclock at all. Not even 2.5Ghz stable? I think my m/b is holding me back. So anyway what I'm wondering is whether its better to have low latency ram like the Corsair or PC4000 RAM thats good to run at 250Mhz?

I've got that exact gskill set....it's sat in my machine at 250 at the moment which is stock with my opteron at 2.8ghz.

I heard good clocking stories about it so went for it.

Do a search and you may find some threads still open about it.

I have the Corsair XMS 3200 C2 2 gig kit also the same motherboard , I have no problems running it at 240mhz @ 2 3 3 6 @ 2.85v using the latest bios.
Also this kit is avail a lot cheaper than £211 more like £170 if you look around.
Also from what I've read the A64 responds better to lower timings , so you want the highest fsb possible @ cas 2 preferably.(edit : and 1t command rate too :) )

EDIT again  : I've just ran cpuz and my ram is at 230 not 240
/me slaps himself :D
